Black Gold Rush

Black Gold Rush is a sculptural series within American Dreamzzz, made in 2011 from Bondo, plastic, wood, enamel and paint.

Half my life we have been at war. False reasons are given for invasions. We toil for oil on foreign soil, and in the wake of our “just cause” are bodies of the dead — a vicious pursuit for a viscous liquid that has lubricated generations of hatred and bloodshed.

Each work in the series is a one-of-a-kind original.
